It is the most conscious way to care for your dental needs in a complete way. Having a dentist that is equally proficient at general dentistry and cosmetic dentistry is rare and invaluable. Therefore Dr. Omar is the complete dentist capable of addressing all of your dental concerns in a comprehensive manner.

Tooth Colored Fillings

A composite filling is a tooth-colored filling that is made of a resin material. It is used to fill cavities in teeth. Composite fillings are often used in front teeth because they can be matched to the color of the tooth, making them less noticeable. They can also be used in back teeth if the cavity is not too large.
Composite fillings are placed in a single visit by the dentist. Dr. Omar will first remove the decayed part of the tooth. Then, he will prepare the tooth for the filling by making it smooth and clean. Next, he will apply a special bonding agent to the tooth. This will help the composite filling to bond to the tooth. Finally, Dr. Omar will add the composite filling to the tooth and cure it with a special light.

Crowns and Bridges

A dental crown is a tooth-shaped cap that is placed over a tooth to restore its shape, size, strength, and appearance. The crowns, when cemented into place, fully encase the entire visible portion of a tooth that lies at and above the gum line.
Dental crowns are used to treat a variety of dental problems, including:

Tooth decay

A crown can be used to cover a large filling that is bigger than your natural tooth structure.

Root canal therapy

A crown can be used to protect a tooth that has had root canal therapy.

Broken teeth

A crown can be used to repair a broken tooth.

Worn teeth

A crown can be used to restore the shape and size of a worn tooth.

Cosmetic reasons

A crown can be used to improve the appearance of a tooth that is discolored, chipped, or misshapen.

The type of crown that is best for you will depend on your individual needs and preferences. Dr. Omar will discuss the different options with you and help you choose the best crown for your situation. Crowns can be customized to match adjacent natural teeth and even veneers.

Bridges are similar to single crowns except they include multiple units connected to one another to replace missing teeth. They are generally made and look identical to teeth and crowns.

Dental Implants

A dental implant is a small, titanium post that is surgically placed into the jawbone to replace a missing tooth root. Once the implant is in place, a crown, bridge, or denture can be attached to it to replace the missing tooth. Dental implants are a permanent solution for missing teeth and offer the best longevity out of all treatment alternatives.

Root Canals

A root canal is a dental procedure to remove the infected pulp inside a tooth. The pulp is made up of nerves, blood vessels, and connective tissue, and it helps to keep the tooth alive. If the pulp becomes infected, it can cause pain, swelling, and even tooth loss. A root canal can help to save a tooth that would otherwise need to be extracted. Root canals are a safe and effective way to save a tooth. Most people experience little or no pain during or after a root canal.

Tooth Extractions

A tooth extraction is a dental procedure in which a tooth is removed from its socket. It is usually performed by a dentist or oral surgeon. There are several reasons why a tooth may need to be extracted, including:

Tooth decay

If a tooth is severely decayed, it may need to be extracted to prevent further damage to the tooth and surrounding teeth.

Infection

If a tooth becomes infected, it may need to be extracted to prevent the infection from spreading.

Impacted teeth

Impacted teeth are teeth that are unable to erupt properly through the gums. They can cause pain, infection, and damage to other teeth.

Preparation for orthodontic treatment

In some cases, teeth may need to be extracted to make room for orthodontic appliances, such as braces.

Dental Cleanings

A dental cleaning is a procedure performed by a dentist or dental hygienist to remove plaque and tartar from your teeth. Plaque is a sticky film of bacteria that forms on your teeth at all times. If plaque is not removed, it can harden into tartar, which can cause gum disease and tooth decay.
Dental cleanings are an important part of maintaining good oral health. They can help to prevent gum disease, tooth decay, and other oral health problems. If you have not had a dental cleaning in a while, it is important to schedule an appointment
